Sexual Spanking Fetishes and Evangelical Christianity?

Sexual Spanking Fetishes and Evangelical Christianity? September 28, 2019

Do not ever Google the words “Jesus” plus “spanking” if you value your own sanity.

We’ve covered the issues of child abuse and spanking/beating children for the last ten years, but rarely have we run across such a openly fetish-based sexual abuse of children being disguised as discipline. This goes way beyond any of the hideous ideas of one Michael Pearl of No Greater Joy and To Train Up A Child.

I hope this is some sort of prank or sick joke.

They call themselves the “Family Pro Spanking Workshop” and are on Facebook. It’s a closed group you need a membership for, and is run by a guy named Michael Miller. He has organized a four day workshop expressly to spank children. He sends out the agenda to anyone that joins and asks. The agenda includes activities like a five to ten minute spankathon with the children up to teenagers stripped from the waist down or totally nude! Clearly from looking at the agenda this is less about disciplining children than adults exercising a sexual fetish that has nothing to do with Jesus!

There are photos on their Facebook group of children nude from the waist down being spanked with a variety of implements, including one of Jesus spanking a small partially nude boy with a wooden paddle.

Several people, myself included, have reported the group and images to Facebook. Their only response was to say that the content and images do not violate their community standards. I guess Facebook sees nothing wrong with the sexual fetish-sizing of children as long as the fetish is wrapped in prayer. The event claims there will be prayer circles to pray over discipline.

Michael Miller, the head of all of this, claims to work as a screen writer for his own entertainment company, Family Horizons Entertainment. His page is filled with him befriending entertainment people, and references to his faith, nothing on his crazy ideas on spanking. Before someone accuses me of ‘doxxing’ Michael let me just say that if you click on ‘Admin’ for the group it leads straight to his profile and real name. Somehow I doubt his celeb friends know about his twisted little fetish.

Scariest of all, if you click on the links to his production company you see that Michael Miller does have access to children, even if he is unmarried. He has photos of the children he has worked with  up on Family Horizons Entertainment.

NLQ author and author of the book 13:24 – A Dark Thriller M. Dolon Hickmon posted about this group first, linking to the following YouTube video discussion of the spanking group. If there’s anything he is an expert on it’s religious child abuse. It features prominently in his novel, and he has experienced it first hand as a child.

Here’s the video:

This is all so sick. Sickest of all that Facebook allows this guy to flourish and promote his own sexual abuse of children. This is one of the worst things that Evangelical Christianity allows to flourish, the sexual abuse of children in the guise of discipline.
