No Longer Quivering
Yesterday’s Coronavirus news came with word of various states reopening, and they all aren’t necessarily reopening slowly or in phases. Both Georgia and Tennessee plan on a quick and full reopening. Heard that Louisiana and Texas are soon to follow suit, along with a few other states.
I’d assumed after the stunning idiocy of the Dorr brother’s rallies that the second killing wave of COVID 19 would come out of the rallies, but it looks more likely to happen as more states reopen too soon. Reopening without a vaccine in place, or wide spread testing of citizens is likely to result in more people dying.
It’s scary because the death rate from Coronavirus in the United States has started to rapidly climb in the last week. As of right now there are close to 48,000 people who’ve lost their lives to this virus, with no sign of the mortality rate slowing. Seeing differing numbers because everyone is applying different metrics to counting the dead, with the CDC only counting those patients with a signed death certificate marked with the cause of death being COVID 19. It’s very likely that the infection and death rates are higher than what is being reported based upon the fact that getting tested is still not that easy in the States. Reopening fully right now is an incredibly bad idea.
President Trump officially flip flopped yesterday on the reopenings. After weeks of urging quick reopenings to get the economy restarted, and start the wages flowing to Americans Trump said “I think it’s too soon,” during yesterday’s briefing. He also said,
“I love those people that use all of those things, the spas, the beauty parlors, barbershops, tattoo parlors, I love them,” Mr. Trump said. “But they can wait a little bit longer. Just a little bit, not much, because safety has to predominate.”
He has finally stopped his reckless promotion of the drug hydroxycloroquine after a new study showed not only did it not help, in some cases it created more deaths. Testing is still ongoing with the drug and a handful of others. A vaccine is currently supposedly in trial phases, even as Trump fired a top official, Dr. Rick Bright, at HHS vaccine development division for criticizing Trump for his promotion of hydroxycloroquine.
In the very sad rumors department I am hearing from several sources that Nurie Rodrigues is sick with Coronavirus right now. I cannot get solid confirmation of this, but it’s likely true with the way the entire Rodrigues clan was traipsing about Ohio and points East, including hosting a conference were there is at least one confirmed COVID 19 case mere days after the conference.
That poor child is delicate and waif like. I am hoping this is just a dumb rumor because I fear for Nurie if this is true. Looking perpetually underfed cannot be a good thing in a serious illness.
Add in the fact that the entire family is living in that minuscule converted barn with the kids stacked in like cordwood it’s likely to spread to most of them. Even Jill and David, parents of that pile of children.
It is interesting that there have been no updates or piles of photos anywhere on the Rods social media since the 14th. Nine full days of nothing, encompassing Nurie’s birthday and Easter. We know Jill Rodrigues just never shuts up on social media, either yapping about the Plexus she sells, or bragging about violating social distancing for Jesus. She’s quiet now, most suspiciously so.
