No Longer Quivering
This is from a long piece by Michael and Debi Pearl’s son Nathan in No Greater Joy magazine. Nathan ties himself up in illogical knots trying to parse which beating is Godly.
Nathan starts describing a recent crime in his area where the accused is defiant instead of remorseful. Then he claims that the criminal didn’t get the right kind of discipline, like he did, before moving on to a story about Michael beating the tar out of him with a leather belt. Then we get this:
No, nope, niene, nix, nyet! It is still child abuse and still coming from the hand of an angry abusive tyrant.
