5 ways Gary Johnson and the Libertarians would destroy America

1. He supports our for-profit prison system, while hypocritically opposing the war on drugs

America has more people locked away in cells than China. We have nearly 3 million Americans behind bars, and this is largely because of a for-profit prison system which benefits from laws and judges who lock away non-violent offenders for extended periods of time and then foots taxpayers with the bill.

Gary Johnson supports this system of prison.

He also hypocritically opposes the “war on drugs” that greatly supports the for-profit prison system.

This is Johnson having his cake and eating it too. He wants the support of the capitalists profiting from this system while pandering to the marijuana legalization crowd. While we should all oppose the war on drugs, we must also oppose the system that benefits from it.

Under Johnson, you can bet we would see an increase in incarcerated adults as prisons find new ways to profit from keeping people locked up.
