Doug Wilson Wants to Smash the Matriarchy?

Doug Wilson Wants to Smash the Matriarchy? November 9, 2018

Doug Wilson of Blog and Mablog mistakenly thinks that America’s problem is the matriarchy. No thought of the fact that old style patriarchy is genuinely to blame for a great deal. In fact in many parts of the world it’s still the rule instead of the weird little exception. It certainly is here in Central America. Doug Wilson states that he wants to smash the matriarchy without any real understanding what it is.

We learn quickly that back in the Jurrasic Era inhabited by Wilson the Child television was a rare treat. There was not one in his home. And his treat of choice was β€˜The Lone Ranger’ – a show that was a corny morality tale that offended Native Americans, women and Asians while masquerading as a Western. Funny, I would have pegged Doug as a fan of something like β€˜My Mother the Car’, not β€˜The Lone Ranger’ with its Rossini penned William Tell Overture theme song and Tonto.

Skip Wilson approved β€˜The Lone Ranger’ and read β€˜The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven’ by Sherman Alexic or see the movie the book spawned β€˜Smoke Signals’

Digression done. Back to Wilson’s weird words:

What?!?! Masculinity made him shoot up his wife’s dishes? No, Doug, that is sheer ridiculous psychopathy. I’d be calling the guys with the straight jackets after escaping to a safe place far far away from the shooter. Some man shooting up your dishes is abuse, not manly.

Nope, having a society that recognizes that using a gun to cow a woman is a good thing. That lack of abuse trumps any imaginary possible abortion numbers, stupid ideas about masculinity, and toxic complaining about progress.

That is one big monsterously goofy fake straw woman that Doug is battling here. She does not exist. This is not what the matriarchy is! This is pure Evangelical Quiverfull fear mongering. I’m surprised that the subcontext is not that these women are spreading their whatever to good women too.

He goes on to state that women make terrible leaders with zero examples, just Bible verses. Doug follows all of this with blathering about the submission of women in all things to men, topped with more word salad on ruling, inborn knowledge of right and wrong and every other stupid Bible justification of why shooting up those dishes was the manly man thing to do.

I leave you with this quote from the piece, that shows just how far from reality the shoot ’em up brain of Doug Wilson has strayed into hateful red pill outer space:

Does that mean some evil man has his hand up the backside of Germany’s Angela Merkel? How about Queen Elizabeth II? Hillary Clinton? Or Golda Mier? Or Maggie Thatcher?
