Anna Duggar Deposition?

Anna Duggar Deposition? 2022-03-01T17:14:50-04:00

Yesterday we shared that the judge in Josh Duggar’s ongoing legal troubles with Carl Echols removed his lawyer Travis W. Story from representing Josh. It appears that Story, and by extension Josh, had been uncooperative with the courts, ignoring requests for discovery and delaying the proceedings. Josh has already been hit with at least one contempt of court citation.

Travis Story and Josh have some other suspicious dealings besides the law suit. Story is involved in the sale of Josh and Anna Duggar’s home for the munificent sum of ten dollars and assumption of the mortgage when Josh was facing legal actions from Danica Dillon for physical assault during two paid sexual encounters, and from Matt McCarthy for the usage of his photos on Ashley Madison without his permission.

Story was the purchaser, and it sure looked like an attempt to hide assets from possible legal actions, coming a mere five days after the Ashley Madison reveal. The Duggar family does like to keep their assets.

Interestingly enough both law suits just mysteriously went away and non disclosure agreements are rumored to have been signed by both. There was some speculation that Dillon was paid off after she appeared in a brand new car right after the law suit went away. No word on what happened in the case with McCarthy, but the silence is also suspicious.

Until this law suit with Echols it seemed like Daddy, or someone, was using money to make legal troubles go away. What I missed yesterday in writing about this particular legal snafu is that two days ago both Anna and Josh Duggar sat for legal depositions with Travis Story.

From the court papers:

Finding out that the depositions took place at Story’s law firm a day before Story was removed from the case makes me question what exactly went down. Did something happen with the depositions that constituted the last straw for the judge?

More as this develops.
