Steven Anderson and Racism

Steven Anderson and Racism 2022-03-01T17:14:35-04:00

A few updates on things I get contacted and asked about every day involving Steven Anderson and the teen sexual abuse crisis at his church.

Nothing new to report on the looming teen abuse crisis at Anderson’s church Faithful Word Baptist Church. It is my understanding that some of the parents and girls involved contacted local law enforcement. We’ve heard nothing, but it’s not likely anyone would unless charges are filed. Sometimes investigation of these things takes quite some time to accomplish. Plus we know that Anderson is likely doing everything within his power to delay or obfuscation any questioning.

Haven’t heard anything more on the COVID 19 outbreak linked to Steven Anderson’s recent Red Hot Preaching conference in Sacramento, California.

Over the past few weeks I’ve been talking to various people, and ending up with all sorts of documents. Today’s piece is from one of the documents, and it’s a pretty chilling look at the endemic racism in many IFB churches, but in particular Faithful Word Baptist Church and their associated churches.

The mother referred to here is Zsuzsanna Anderson. John Anderson and the Isaac Anderson mentioned are the sons of Zsuzsanna and Steven Anderson. The family involved here have left the church, and I believe they are African American.

Pretty clear that the Pissing Pastor and Zsu are not going to be found at a Black Lives Matter rally any time soon, isn’t it? This just goes on top of the laundry list of awful that defines Steven Anderson and his ministry.

Want to hear something truly sad about all of this? One of the victims of the recent teen crisis and her family live right next door to the Andersons. They’ve been run out of the church with the other families.
