Looks like Ganesha, right?
It’s actually an illustration of “brother Warth” a “blue lantern” character from the Green Lantern comic book series. No doubt he was based on Sri Ganesha, though. Check out the picture of him wearing Indian clothes…
On the one hand, it’s nice to see Hindu influence in popular culture. On the other hand, there doesn’t seem to be much acknowledgment of where the inspiration for this character clearly came from.
