In Case You Missed It

So, after my last post, I got a lot of comments from people saying they were sorry they weren’t at CPAC to hear Mom’s speech.  Well, those of us who were there know there’s nothing like being in the audience when she’s on a roll.  But, I did find this video of the speech in its entirety for your weekend enjoyment.

In the comments section, tell me your favorite part — when the crowd shouted down the Occupy Wall Street guys?  The Washington-DC-as-a-hot-tub line?

You gotta hand it to my Mom — she nailed this speech.  (And you can’t tell it from this video, but she was delivering it in some very cool shoes!)

UPDATE: You asked, I deliver!  Here’s a photo of the shoes she was wearing!

God, I would’ve loved to have been in the audience during this speech! I don’t know if I can choose a favorite part, but I did get a special thrill when the audience shouted down the Occupy crowd. And by the look on your mom’s face, she enjoyed it very much, too. Even chiming in. The thing I love most about your mom, Bristol, is that she gets her point across with humor. The “hot tub” line being the perfect example. And she always does it in style. Those shoes were fabulous! Were those yours? (I know your mom likes to borrow your shoes now and again) Great speech, great night. I’m so glad you and Willow were there to witness it in person, Bristol. I know how proud you girls are of your mom. We share that pride.

    Great Speech!

Expect pretty populist princess Sarah Palin to be a prominent political power-player in the 2012 election cycle.

  • Stephanie Abbott

Let me begin by saying that being in the audience for this speech was one of the most incredible moments of my political life! I absolutely loved when she said, “We’re here. We’re clear. Get used to it.” It is so the essence of what makes her Sarah Palin and why we love her so dearly! God bless!

I loved the speech from beginning to end! I was watching the CSPAN livestream on my laptop and I could feel the energy even though I wasn’t physically in the room! Good thing my cats and I were the only ones home because I couldn’t stop cheering!

I loved her expression when she said WTF then shook her head and said ” I know”. I fall out laughing every time I watch that.

Rocked it as usual! Yesterday I was driving in denver and as I was coming up to a stop light someone was honking like crazy at me. I thought I had maybe I left something on the hood, but no, she was psyched about my Palin Power bumper sticker:) She pulled up next to me and went on and on about how she loved your fam, I had a smile on my face the rest of the day! Keep fighting the good fight Bristol, us regular joes will stand behind you!

I loved this speech. The reception that she received from the audience was awesome. I was at her speech in Greenville, SC last month and that was a great one, too. Actually, I have never heard a speech that she hasn’t nailed. And her sense of humor just adds to the greatness of them.

“We are not red Americans, we are not blue Americans, we are red, white and blue! And President Obama, we are through with you.” Classic Sarah. Sick rhymes. Love it.

    • Joseph

That was one of my favorite quotes she said!

Bristol I am in tears, seriously. Thank you for the post I had not seen it. What a speech, and it is clear that these aren’t just words, this is her soul. I so much want a president who speaks with this passion and love of country. I am petrified that we might not get it. Sarah is the American Margaret Thatcher, she’s a revolutionary patriot reincarnated, John McCain’s entire life served one major positive purpose and that was to bring Sarah Palin into the public arena. I voted for Newt because I desperately want to see fire & brimstone thrown in Obama’s face as he spouts one lie after another. Here, in this speech, is someone who could do that with a smile backed up by pure truth & logic with fire in the eyes. I would vote for, campaign for, work for free to get your mom into the White House. But as long as she holds some important cabinet post, and/or keeps speaking out for common sense and our constitution, wherever she goes she will be a force for the betterment of our country. God Bless Sarah Palin. Incredible.

Amen…… I love Sarah Palin…. We need her.

  • Maleena

Great speech as always! And yes I most certainly did see those freakin awesome shoes!!!!! And my favorite line was and is:
“We aren’t red Americans, we aren’t blue Americans, we are red, white, and blue Americans and President Obama we are through with you!”~~~ Sarah Palin! Booyah!

  • blackbird

Thanks Bristol for the video. Now I am going to get get hell for saying this but I cannot keep it in anymore, there should be a law banning silk as an attire, there I said it, now let me have it.

Oh… the Governor was on fire as per the norm.

  • Nathan Erbland

I love all Mrs. Palin’s speeches, to me they are all wonderful.

  • Linda

I,m not quite sure, but I think those shoes are made of RINO skin…. yes, thats it! Where can I get a pair of RINO skin shoes????????

  • Gary Ernsthausen

Bristol, those shoes need to be modeled and sold by a REAL live auction on FOX NEWS with 5 ringmen and watch their ratings go up then,, I will guess $500K for those with a good team!

  • Jewels

I’m speechless! God bless America. God bless you, Sarah!

  • aaron krohn

    Yes, an INCREDIBLE speech!!
But my own personal favorite is her Governor’s Inaugural speech from December 4, 2006!!!
    Why?
While her CPAC speech, as well as her Convention speech, her Indianola IA speech, her Tea Party Nashville speech, her Madison speech and probably several others might have been all GREAT and IMPORTANT speeches, her Inaugural speech, when I watch it on the 53 minute video provided by PalinTV, which covers the WHOLE ceremony……allows me to imagine that same speech (with a few alterations, like changing “Alaska” to “America”!) being given on January 20, 2013 on the steps of the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C………after she’s taken the Oath of Office as the 45th President of the United States!!!
Every time I watch that video (And I’ve seen it SEVERAL times!!!), I get chills thinking how POWERFUL that moment in history would be!!!!!

P.S. Those shoes are alligator shoes, aren’t they?? Reminds me of a “blonde joke” I once heard:

A blonde walks into a boot shop near the Florida Everglades, and asks for a pair of alligator boots!!
The clerk tells her “We’re temporarily out of those. Please come back in a couple of weeks!!”
Two hours later, the clerk closes the shop, and while driving home, passing a swampy area, sees that same blonde standing on the shore, with FOUR dead alligators at her feet, aiming a high-powered rifle at an alligator in the swamp!!!
The clerk slams on his brakes, rushes out of his car, and yells, “Hey!! What the heck do you think you’re doing??!!
The blonde says, oblivious of the guy, “DANG!!! This one doesn’t have BOOTS on either!!!!!”

This will be a good one to tell my daughter. We don’t call her “Blondy” sometimes for no reason. But, she still will blame her ‘blonde’ moments on her ‘True Blondy’ grandmother.

Way to go Sarah! Favorite part is: We’re Red White & Blue & we’re through with you Obama!

  • Barbara

I have a great deal of respect for Sarah and I always have. She never backs down and fights the “good fight”. She is an excellent ambassador of the message of truth and patriotism! Thank you Sarah – we need you!

P.S. – Your shoes are fabulous! But then again, she has wonderful taste and is always put together and makes a great impression!

    GOD BLESS YOU!

  • Mary

I can’t even pick my favorite part!! I just love your mom!!! And those shoes are incredible!

Bristol, please convince your mom to run for President one day. We really need her!

  • kate

Thank you for getting the speech for everyone. What a cool thing you did. Bless you and Tripp. (Not forgetting your mum and the oh so cute Trigg).

  • Elizabeth

Mine is “Keep your change: We will keep our God, our guns, and our Constitution.” Is it possible to get a copy of the text of this speech? It is clear, concise, and on target.

  • brandon johnson

Some people listen to music while doing homework. Others might have the T.V. on in the background. Not me, I have the beautiful and intelligent Sarah Palin speech going. My favorite part has to be towards the beginning when she says “we are red, white, and blue and Obama we are through with you!” ..followed by an obvious standing ovation.
Thank you Bristol for posting this! I watched it live and had no problem watching again.

  • Bevy

Those shoes look REALLY uncomfortable! :) Go Sarah!

  • AnyOldNameWillDo

    Hi Bristol :)
Her shoes are awesome! I really liked her red ones too from 2008.
Nobody gives a speech better than her or takes it to the opposition better.

      Bristol,
My husband and I were I attendance when your mom spoke at this years CPAC – 6th row center! She was and is awesome!!! We pray for the day when Americans will allow her to take the helm and put this country back in track!
In the mean time, we all take her encouragement to to what we can from where we are.
In the mean time, please google: What if I have a SMART meter on my house and it makes me sick?

    Vintage Sarah!

Ouch Bristol! Those shoes look like torture devices. They will ruin her feet. Tell her, “don’t do that!” Bunions in old age are not fun.
