Happy Birthday, Willow!

Guess who turns eighteen today?

You can probably tell how proud I am of Willow.  Her name came from a small community that began in 1897 when miners discovered gold on Willow Creek.  Also, she was named after Willow Bay, one of my mother’s favorite sports reporters.

As I’ve mentioned before, we’re four years apart.  This meant that as we were growing up in the same house, we were each other’s best friends and worst enemies… depending on the day!

Now that we are both mature adults (don’t laugh!) we will probably get along much better. But one thing that will remain the same: I’m always so proud of her!

Not only does is she a great help with Tripp, she graduated high school more than a year early, and now is continuing her education at beauty school.

One of the reasons why I enjoyed shooting Life’s a Tripp is because she was there with me every step of the way.  (Tune in to see her move to Arizona, attend school, and experience some hilarious beauty treatments with me!)

I love you, Willow!  Happy birthday!!

Willow looks a little bit like Shawn Johnson. It’s not exact, but if you weren’t paying attention, you’d create a case of mistaken identity.

Those shoes you’re wearing look familiar – didn’t I see your mom rocking those heels during a recent speech? They look great on both of you.

Wow. You don’t know the Palin family at all. Stop you hate. Learn to be kind for once in your life. Just say “hey I don’t like them so I won’t be here commenting my hate. I will learn to deal with it.”

  • Lisa G

The Palins find nothing wrong with the gay community. Again, your ignorance is tiring.

  • Patriot

So you know them? Tell me do they have a lot of gay friends? Are they supportive of the gay community’s struggle for equal rights? Please correct me if I’m wrong.

  • Mariah

Sarah has gay friends. Oh, just because she is strait doesn’t mean she hates all gays. You should read her book. And watch interviews. You will learn a lot.

  • otlset

“Struggle for equal rights” I don’t know, gay people are doing pretty well these days overall. They usually have a good standard of living, creatively contribute to their communities, improving neighborhoods, mostly harmless and usually good friends to all. They just want to get ‘married’ (as opposed to ‘civilly united’), so they can get divorced too.

  • Patriot

Outset. Why don’t you compare the number of gay teens who committed suicide last year because of bullying to the number of Christian teens who committed suicide because of bullying.

  • Patriot

Why don’t you educate yourself a little bit. This should help you. http://www.equalitygiving.org/Sarah-Palin-on-the-issues-Equality-Quotes-Gay-Rights

How vary sad. You need to lower that blood pressure. I strongly suggest you get your Claims striaght. Cause those Claims are not facts.

  • GrizzlyMom

I read Patriot’s link and those were direct quotes from Sarah Palin. Her record while she was governor speaks for itself. Facts are facts Mariah.

The only two positions that (according to the site linked, where it actually says in part of the title “…issues for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and “queer” (!!!, my quotes) Americans…” she has made on the issue is 1) She believes “marriage” should be between a man and a woman, and 2) she’s against singling out any crimes as “hate crimes” (as determined by liberal thought-police — where THEY decide what constitutes a “hate crime”.) as she believes all crimes against another are hate crimes (which I agree with). That’s it, and I agree with her positions.
