Taylor Swift Writes Touching Note to Fan Missing Her Mom

Taylor Swift really seems like one of the most genuine people in the celebrity world.

She makes the news pretty consistently for reaching out to fans with acts of kindness. This year, on Mother’s Day, she wrote the most touching note to a girl who follows her on Tumblr. Kaileen said that it was a hard day for her since her mom had died in the past year, but that Taylor’s inspiration helped her get through. This is how Swift responded:

Kaileen- I love you so much and can’t imagine what you must be feeling today. You’ve lived through my worst fear. I’m so sorry you can’t spend today with her. It’s not fair, and there’s no reason why you should feel okay about it. No one should ever expect you to feel normal today. I admire and respect your ability to put forth such a sunny, sweet disposition when you’ve been through something so dark and tragic so recently. I never would’ve guessed by your attitude or your posts. I never would’ve known if you hadn’t told me. Sending you a huge hug today. Gonna go get iced coffee and cheers to you. 🙂

It’s even more touching because Taylor Swift told fans that her own mom is currently fighting a battle with cancer. I’m going to stop right now and say a prayer for both of them!
