Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore told the Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins last week that Congress should impeach Justice Ginsburg because her presiding over an entirely legal same-sex marriage ceremony is somehow magically ushering in an “age of chaos.”
The Family Research Council sends out alerts to its followers every week not only telling them what to pray about but precisely how to pray about it. This week they’re encouraging them to pray that a sitcom based on the life of Dan Savage be canceled.
Rep. Louis Gohmert, the dumbest man in Congress, told Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council that it’s all Obama’s fault that he and other hardcore rightists believe in one bizarre conspiracy theory after another, like the Jade Helm 15 nonsense.
It’s always fun watching Christian right leaders disagree with and attack one another, but “Coach” Dave Daubenmire is really going after the long list of wingnut leaders who say they’re willing to go to prison or even to jail if the Supreme Court rules for same-sex marriage. He scoffs at this and calls them dishonest cowards:

The president of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton, went on Tony Perkins’ radio show and the two of them told a couple of major lies. This is the group that broke the entirely fake story about a terrorist training camp just over the Mexican border. The first lie:
Daniel Lapin is the Christian right’s favorite rabbi. Where most Jewish people would be appalled by views that can only be described with the phrase “you gotta be fucking kidding me,” the Christian fundamentalists love him for espousing those very same views. Like this steaming pile of stupid:
I’m a little confused by the Family Research Council’s recent call for prayer and fasting to somehow, in some inexplicable manner, affect the outcome of the Supreme Court same-sex marriage case. I mean, they do this kind of thing all the time, but 21 days? Don’t they know it’s supposed to be for 40 days? 21 isn’t a special magic Bible number!
Concerned that they’ll end up with Jeb Bush as the Republican presidential candidate, Christian right leaders are straining mightily to get everyone to rally around a single candidate in the GOP clown car to unite behind and push to a glorious victory for Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him).
Rep. Louis Gohmert, who really has to be the dumbest man in Congress, thinks the United States should bomb Iran right now and thus launch another war in the Middle East with all the attendant human, financial and geopolitical costs. And he wrongly thinks the American public agrees with him.
A panel at CPAC last week featured right wing talk show host, Dana Loesch, Tony Perkins and Rep. Randy Neugebauer discussing religious freedom. Loesch made this absolutely bizarre argument that if we don’t protect the right of Christians to discriminate against gay people, that could lead to gays being stoned in the street.
Craig James, a former sportscaster who now works as a spokesperson for the Family Research Council, took calls from several listeners while guest hosting for Tony Perkins claiming that Obama was going to refuse to leave the White House when his 2nd term is up. Rather than telling them that they’re completely full of shit, he agreed with them:
