Perhaps this should be titled ‘How now sweet hypocrite?’ Last week I put together yesterday’s post on Wilson foaming at the mouth over Kamala Harris I’d stumbled across looking for his take on the governor of Virginia and other prominent Virginians confessing to wearing black face. I had to push back using the Wilson piece several days because of the Botkin Sisters letter mess.

Doug finally did vent about Ralph Northam. While he was word salading and throwing a strange tantrum cum hissy fit he only exposed his own hypocrisy. While he’d been busy decrying the public spanking the teens from Covington Catholic received for their role in the situation at the National Mall he’s pretty much calling for the beheading of Northam.

Let’s be clear here. Blackface by anyone is unacceptable. It hasn’t always been, but that time is long gone. No more blackface movies or televisions, no more dressing up as another race for Halloween or Mardi Gras. Just don’t.

Racism is racism and shouldn’t be tolerated. But you don’t notice Wilson calling out Donald Trump, or anyone saying and doing racist things in the GOP. Just anyone not connected to his favorite political party like the good little hypocrite he is.

Somehow in Doug’s twisted reasoning he is trying to link late stage abortion to Northam, when he has absolutely nothing to do with it. Only in Doug world.

Doug keeps talking about ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome,’ meaning anyone not loving our president is mentally deranged. I don’t know about that, but after reading boatloads of his constant hand-wringing, fear-mongering and hating I’m pretty sure ‘Wilson Derangement Syndrome’ is a real thing.

Should Northan resign? Perhaps. It would show Wilson and others of his ilk that the Democrats take the issues of racism serious even if what he did was not a crime.
