Give Your Husband Sex or He Will Cheat?

Give Your Husband Sex or He Will Cheat?

The fact that Larry is either frightened or intimidated by this young woman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez makes me happy. He should be considering she is rational, educated and without his silly superstitions.

Larry Solomon of Biblical Gender Roles has been so busy lately. He has a podcast where most of the subjects seem to be ordering women to have sex with their husbands.Β  Take a look, if your stomach is strong enough. I’m going to ask yet again – what is it about Evangelical Christians where women must be nattered and nagged at to have sex with their husbands? Are all the men just really horrible in bed? Do they just not know how to please a lady in bed? Have horrible B.O. and hygiene problems? Never brush their teeth? I don’t get it.

He updated his blog several days ago supposedly talking about β€œfoolish women”, starting with what he thinks of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, but straying yet again to the subject of being refused sex by a wife. Apparently Ocasio-Cortez makes his gonads auto retract into his body if this is anything to go by. She’s screwing withΒ  his cha-cha!

First Larry tries to say that when Jesus said to not go around calling people fools he didn’t really mean it.

I think the thing that Larry is missing here is that there is a great deal of difference between calling someone a fool and calling their actions, behavior and thought processes foolish.

For someone claiming to follow Jesus he sure is eager not actually do that.

Then we have this:

Did Larry not understand β€˜acting foolish’ is different than being a fool? This is what happens when people try to spin a bronze age book as their answer for everything without taking into consideration things like history, society, custom and language. Trust Larry to take it all the way to killing.

Well, well, well, look who is more controlled by Mr. Happy than Mr. Jesus! Mr. Larry Solomon.

Here’s the thing that strikes me the most, that I have to state again. This seems to be much more of a problem among the fundamentalist and evangelical crowd than anyone else. Just like porn addition, divorce and affairs. Higher stats on each of those things in the church than out.

Why do women in this religion hate to have sex with their husbands? The same question I asked yesterday in my bit on Lori Alexander.

I’ve seen people with very unusual kinks who are less hung up about sex than Larry, Lori and a whole pile of folks.

Bonus squick on Larry. One of his commenters.

Shaming women? Looks toΒ  me that the people group that really needs shaming are men like this. How is this even remotely Biblical?

One thing I do know that would end all of this terrible sex pretty handily. End shame over normal sexuality and do that thing no one does in these religious communities, talk to each other, communicate. It’s just not that complex!

Life is more than sex and if you’re having to spend this much energy to get sex something is pretty seriously wrong in your relationship.
