Larry Solomon – Hate is Love and Love is Hate so Kill the Gays?

Larry Solomon – Hate is Love and Love is Hate so Kill the Gays? 2019-06-26T23:33:57-04:00

Larry Solomon of Biblical Gender Roles doubles down on the hatred. Which is amusing considering he’s been recently outed, his real name and information is out there for all to see. Several people have managed to figure out who Larry likely is and have started sharing that information.

Here I thought for the last year that Larry was guy with a similar name from Pearl River, Louisiana. Guess I’m not much of a detective.

Back to Larry, the hating average man hiding behind a pseudonym. Larry thinks that God hates all sinners, which means we all must hate all sinners. But wait a minute! Didn’t Jesus himself say that everyone wasΒ  a sinner who fell short of the glory of God? Does that mean God just hates everyone including Larry?

If we examine the Scriptures we will find a truth that is uncomfortable for many modern Americans.Β  We are taught in our American culture that all forms of hate are bad and all forms of love are good.Β  The Bible however, teaches something very different.

The Bible teaches that hate is sometimes holy and love is sometimes vile.

The thing is, there are plenty of scriptures that state things like God loved us even as we were sinners. God is love, and a million other scriptures that say the opposite of what Larry is claiming here.

That’s the interesting thing about the Bible. Not matter how awful your theology you can likely find a scripture or two to support your words.

That’s because it’s a book writtenΒ  by many folks, translated so many times that parts of it read in a most confusing fashion. If the Bible is the literal word of God for man then He must be a befuddled changeable dictator.

So what is Larry applying his hatred to? The LGBTQ community, surprise, surprise, that beleaguered community that always ends up being told they should be executed by the same Christians that also claim to love everyone.

I will give Larry brownie points for being honest here. Larry goes on to advocate the same thing that Steven Anderson and many of the New Independent Fundamentalist Baptist church want. The civil death of all non cis gendered people.

God has granted the civil government the right to treat homosexuality as a capital crime and Romans 13:4 says the following of the civil government’s authority by God to perform capital punishments for certain sins which he allows it for.

Larry goes on to say that individual people cannot just start executing homosexuals, but that they can pressure the government into doing it. That killing gays is the role of government.

Not my government.

Go crawl back under your rock Larry Solomon
