No Longer Quivering
We have no choice but to talk today about yesterday’s press conference with the Coronavirus task force. It was the very definition of crazy disinformation, much of it spewing from the pie hole of our President Donald J. Trump.
Trump said that because there was evidence that antiseptics and/or disinfectants could be ingested to kill the virus. He said something about injecting your lungs with these substances and a number of high sketchy things about sunlight, heat and humid cures, including wanting to put sunlight into people’s lungs.
Now he’s claiming he was “just joking” to test the reporters. But, see, here’s the thing about guys that do and say horrible things and claim they were “just joking” when others are offended. You know who does that? Narcissists do this. It’s part of their gaslighting people to make them seem crazy.
Please do not drink bleach or Lysol. Don’t stick a sunlamp anywhere near your bronchial tubes. None of his suggestions are relevant to this illness. For all his claims of heat, humid and sunlight curing this let me just that that there are many countries with high heat, high humidity and lots of sunlight who also have high numbers of Coronavirus patients.
