It’s been a while since I posted any videos from A.D.: The Bible Continues, but that doesn’t mean the producers have stopped releasing them! Included in this post are the first clip from the film, plus four new ads and a couple of TV interviews as well.

The clip — which doesn’t seem to be playable outside the United States — is called ‘Miracles’, and it’s not clear which particular miracle it depicts:

Here is the dialogue from that scene:

Woman: Are you Peter? Please come. I know you have done it before. Bring her back, please.

Peter: In the name of Jesus Christ, be healed. Child, hear me. I walked with him, ate with him, called him my friend. In the name of Jesus Christ, be healed.

The first time we saw a tiny bit of this scene, in one of the earlier previews, I wondered if this was supposed to be the raising of Dorcas (a.k.a. Tabitha) from the dead, as per Acts 9. But now I’m not so sure. Dorcas is the only person raised from the dead by Peter in the entire Bible, but the line “I know you have done it before” suggests that Peter will raise multiple people from the dead in this series. So this might be one of those other people. Or perhaps the woman was referring to the dead people raised by Jesus, and she meant the Jesus movement as a whole when she said “you”…?

The producers have also released four new previews since my last round-up.

The ‘Igniting a Rebellion’ preview:

The official Spanish trailer, which also does not play outside the United States:

Then there was this video posted on March 3, ‘33 Days’ before the series’ premiere:

Various members of the cast and crew have been doing interviews to promote the series, too. Here, for example, are producers Mark Burnett & Roma Downey, speaking to WNDU, a station based in Indiana:

Real-life married couple Emmett J. Scanlan and Claire Cooper, who play Saul (a.k.a. Paul) and Herodias respectively, spoke to KPRC in Houston, Texas, too:

And there will be a lot more talking about this series as it airs. NBC has said that it will tape a church-based talk show called Beyond A.D. after each episode airs, and that each episode of that talk show will stream online the following Sunday, before the next episode of A.D. airs. The talk show will feature interviews with the producers and actors and church leaders like Rick Warren, as well as musical guests, etc.
