Republican U.S. President Donald Trump has misplaced faith. For example, President Trump said he believed Russian President Vladimir Putin saying at the Helsinki conference last year that Russia did not interfere in the U. S. presidential election in 2016 in order to try to get Trump elected; yet eleven or more U.S. intelligence agencies, which work for the president, concluded from their intense investigations of the matter that the Russian government certainly did so interfere. President Trump says he believes... Read more

Israel’s Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit, an Orthodox Jew, announced today that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will soon be indicated for corruption charges, which will include bribery, after a thorough, two-year investigation. Netanyahu replied like his friend U.S. President Donald Trump has to the special counsel Mueller’s investigation of possible Trump collusion with Russians to win the presidential election–calling it “a witch hunt.” This is ironic because Netanyahu and Mandelblit are friends. In fact, Netanyahu mentored Mandelblit and chose him as... Read more

Michael Cohen is a Jewish lawyer whose father escaped the WWII Holocaust. Cohen was Donald J. Trump’s personal lawyer and “fixer” for the past ten years until about a year ago. The ancients of Mesopotamia in city-states of the Middle East built ziggurats to worship their gods. These people were mostly Sumerians, Assyrians, Elamites, and Babylonians. These massive structures they built were pyramidally-shaped with four sides. They consisted of a series of stories successively lesser in width, often seven in all, that reached an apex plateau. A ramp usually ascended all four sides to reach a top, square-shaped plateau. Herodotus–the so-called “father of history” who lived in the fifth century BCE–said... Read more

Dustin Johnson was back in the driver’s seat this week. He started the last round today in the WGC-Mexico Championship at Club de Golf Chapultepec in Mexico City with a five stroke lead. He then cruised to victory with that number still separating him from the field. The long and straight hitter off the tee put the pedal to the metal to finish 21-under par with a 263 total in his climb to even more stardom, this time at the 8,000... Read more

Last year, U.S. President Trump, Disruptor-in-Chief, withdrew the U.S. from the Iran nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). It had been negotiated by the Obama administration in 2015. Trump is well known for opposing about everything President Obama did. The agreement included all five members of the UN Security Council plus Germany as participating signatories. The agreement was that Iran could continue to produce nuclear energy but that it could not develop and produce nuclear... Read more

As I posted Sunday, J. B. Holmes, one of my favorite players on the PGA Tour, won the Genesis Open for his fifth win on Tour. J. B. is catching a lot of flak on social media right now since he is one of the slowest players on Tour. In that last nine holes Sunday, he took a lot of time to hit some of his shots. He afterwards defended himself, which wasn’t the right play. In recent years, the... Read more

In the last round of the Genesis Open today, the wind blew, the leaders fell down, and the last man standing to lift the trophy at the end of the day was red beard–J. B. Holmes. The wild action was performed on stage at the famous Riviera Golf Club in Pacific Palisades, a suburb of Los Angeles, California, near tinsel town Hollywood. It was Holmes’ fifth win on the PGA Tour. The wind increasingly picked up speed, gusting to 30... Read more

The PGA Tour pros fought rain and hail today at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Monterey, California. The inclement weather, which included a wind chill as low as upper 30 degrees, caused delays totaling three hours and twenty minutes. Play finally was suspended due to darkness, with three holes left to be played for the last group. The journeyman Paul Casey from England started this fourth and final round today with a three-stroke lead... Read more
