    LOSER: “Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp” (Lifetime)

    Viewers from both sides of the political spectrum voted loud and clear on this celebreality series, which follows Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol as she moves to L.A. with her young son. The premiere drew a mere 726,000 viewers and didn’t even rank among the night’s top 100 cable programs in key demos. Not even a much-hyped confrontation with a heckler at a Hollywood bar could entice people to tune in. And the indignity continued this week, with Lifetime bumping “Tripp” to 11 PM in favor of “Dance Mom” repeats. (Ouch.)

    Bristol, Happy Independance Day!!!!! Hope you had a better one than these people here!!!! I will be praying for you and your mom!!!!! Let’s not lose site of why we celebrate this day!!! Our founding fathers came here for freedoms!!! They faught against the british!!!! And created our Consititution!!!!! Thanks to them we have freedoms!!!!

    Spouse and self went to lunch at the retirement community where my stepmother lives, which is for retired military and/or their surviving spouses. My stepmother is the widow of two career military from the WWII/Korea era (when her first husband had died, and my mother had died, she married my late father). The meal was a barbecue – hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecued chicken, potato salad, corn pudding, soft drinks or beer, strawberry shortcake or ice cream. The plan was to hold it outside picnic-style, but it was so hot that they had it in the regular dining hall. In the evening we watched the “America’s Birthday Party” from the Capitol lawn, with Tom Bergeron as host this year – as you would expect, he did an excellent job. The music was great, and the fireworks very nice. God bless America, land that I love, stand beside her and guide her through the night with the light from above.

    Bristol, I saw a photo of you and Gino at what looked like a parade with the rest of your family. It was on Facebook. Was that taken yesterday on the 4th? I think there was one of Piper who must have been in the parade.

    Bristol, your quote from the Declaration of Independence brings it all down as to why we celebrate. I think we need a Declaration of Independence II with the same message sent to the present White House and Congress, cause they seem to forget why we had the first one. Then we can celebrate again in November, cause they’ll be gone (I pray).

    Spent day with family in yearly 4th celebration which includes: a birthday party, anniversay wishes, and 4th celebration with cookout and fireworks! Fun times as well as patriotic memories of past, present, and tradition. Flying the American Flag is always an honor and privilege for our family. We will not forget what it stands for and all sacrifices made for it to fly in its’ glory at a great price. God bless America.

    On Nov. 6, 2012 the American People must show Washington that We still Believe in The Declaration Of Independence, the US Constitution, the Bill Of Rights, the Pledge Of Allegiance, and Our National Anthem — even though – Evidently – they Do Not Believe in them. — Tom Stewart and Jellybean are really ” Creepy ” !!!

    My husband officially retires tomorrow, and we have our little retirement nest egg lined up ready to go. But w e won’t see any of it if we allow tyranny to take over. Many of the founding fathers suffered ruin, hardships, death, loss of their homes and fortunes. All because they rose up to throw off the yoke of tyranny. We must do the same.
