Wow, they’re sure pulling out all the stops to promote A.D.: The Bible Continues.
After posting all the usual very brief videos online — clips, trailers, endorsements from faith leaders and so on — the producers have now released a 23-minute making-of video (basically a half-hour TV special, once you add the commercial breaks).
You can watch that special here:
The show’s YouTube channel has also continued to post the shorter videos, including this bit on Caiaphas…
…and this bit on Pontius Pilate:
The Today show posted this set-visit report:
Zap2it posted this video of Juan Pablo Di Pace talking about playing Jesus:
Guideposts posted an essay by producer Roma Downey on prayer, accompanied by this video:
And Jefferson Bethke, creator of the ‘Why I Hate Religion But Love Jesus’ YouTube clip, posted a video called ‘The Bible Is Messy’ that he shot on the A.D. set:
Finally, there are five faith-leader endorsement videos that cannot be played outside the United States. But I can still post them here, so check them out if you can:
One video is simply called ‘Faith Raves’:
Then there are specific endorsements from Sam Rodriguez…
…Pat Robertson…
…Ronnie Floyd…
…and Jim Daly of Focus on the Family:
