For those who think that radical Catholic reactionaries are simply traditionalists with a bit of an “edge”; think again. I’ve already documented how Steve Skojec of One Peter Five infamy, virtually believes that the Catholic Church can defect from the faith and that the Ordinary Form / New Mass is atrocious and abominable. Now we’ll take a survey (solely from his Twitter page: his words in blue) of his “prophetic” denunciations against the latest ecumenical council: the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965). For those who appear unaware of it, Catholics are bound to accept its sublime magisterial authority. See:
All of these goofy notions, of course, constitute the supposed triumph in the Church of the heretical notion of “evolution of dogma” (roundly condemned by Pope St. Pius X) rather than the perfectly orthodox and legitimate development of doctrine. Alas, we poor Catholics must live with it as “a bizarre self-contradiction” (11-5-19, 12:09 PM). O woe is us! Who will deliver us from such a hideous fate?! Vatican II is “a mess” (2-5-18, 3:46 PM); not just the “interpretation” mind you: but the council itself. What would we have done with Steve to save us?!
Steve has somehow — inextricably — convinced himself that Vatican II is “non-binding” (9-25-29, 3:55 PM). He favorably links (10-9-18, 2:55 PM) to fellow extremist reactionary Peter Kwasniewski’s article, “RIP, Vatican II Catholicism (1962-2018)” [10-9-18]: published, of course, at One Vader Five.: complete with the picture of a ghastly casket. No subtleties here, folks . . . . He also favorably links (2-5-18, 12:46 PM) ) to the similar article, “Time to Let Go of Vatican II” by Brian Williams (2-2-18). Can you imagine some fool writing an article, “Time to Let Go of Vatican I” in the year 1925, or “Time to Let Go of Trent” in the year 1618?
