Watch: A Zealot meets his fate in a sneak peek from next week’s episode of A.D. The Bible Continues April 27, 2015

A.D. The Bible Continues continues to lose viewers. The NBC series held steady in the ratings last night, where its 1.1 rating matched the rating for last week’s episode, but the number of total viewers was down from 6.3 million to 5.7 million.

That’s well below the 9.5 million viewers that the first episode had three weeks ago, and even further below the 10 to 13 million viewers that each episode of The Bible got two years ago. (Each of those episodes was two hours long, though.)

Ah well, no matter. The network is forging ahead, and has posted two new clips from next week’s episode — both of which concern the fictitious Zealot Boaz.

First, Caiaphas confronts Peter while looking for Boaz in the Christians’ camp:

Second, Cornelius tortures Boaz, until someone else intervenes:
