Watch: The awfully rushed martyrdom of Stephen from last night’s episode of A.D. The Bible Continues

For the third week in a row, A.D. The Bible Continues held steady in the ratings last night but slipped in terms of total viewers. The 1.1 rating for last night’s episode matched the ratings for the previous two weeks, but the number of total viewers was down to 5.5 million (from 5.7 million last week and 6.3 million the week before).

The series had 9.5 million viewers when its first episode aired four weeks ago.

The network has not released any clips from next week’s episode yet, but we do have this clip from the end of last night’s episode, depicting Stephen’s martyrdom:
