Watch: The fifth episode of digital talk show Beyond A.D.

In this week’s episode of Beyond A.D., host Jason Kennedy is joined by Chipo Chung, who plays Mary Magdalene on A.D. The Bible Continues, as well as actor Kirk Cameron and pastor James MacDonald. The show also features a new clip from the next episode of A.D. and a musical performance by All Sons & Daughters.

A few highlights:

• Chung makes some great points about the “clues” the Bible gives regarding the kind of woman Mary Magdalene was (c. the 4-minute mark).
• Cameron kind of, sort of draws a contrast between the episode’s depiction of Stephen and the Bible’s description of Stephen, without quite saying just how different the two portrayals are (c. the 7-minute mark).
• A viewer thanks the show for not having “wimpy” angels (c. the 22-minute mark).
