  • Sir…

how about the errors of "ONENESS PENTECOSTALISM" particularly their belief on "JESUS ONLY BAPTISM" and the "3 MANIFESTATIONS OF GOD–FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT"??

i just want to know how to refute their unbiblical doctrines…

    thanks.

  • catholic_warrior22 :

If you have time , you can check the new advent encyclopedia about the heresies of monarchianism , sabellians , patripassians (which today are called dynamistic or adoptionist)in the past they were called theodotians because they followed a certain theodotus , or philanthropists on account of their denial of the Logos , or the hersy of the modalists , which exaggerated the oneness of the Father and the Son as to make them but one person,God the Father appears on earth as Son .Or the heresy of Paul of Samosata….

You see Catholic Warrior, these persons must know about these heresies and maybe this way they will understand that their beliefs have always been condemned …

As the saint John Henry Newman said,to be deep in history is to stop being a protestant…

  • Can't do everything! There is a lot of good material online about this error: much from Protestant apologists. A search in Google will find that, I'm sure.
